When we left Bouyaha 2 years ago there was the start of a wall. When we returned we found 8 classrooms and a kitchen. Thanks to generosity of many people.
By the end of the today with help from local youth and painters the exterior is nearly painted. Tomorrow we will start on the inside as well.
Jen and Emily packed last minute supplies to take with us to Bouyaha to use with their wellness education seminar for the local women.
Good friends preparing for the day.
A highlight of our visit is serving lunch to the children. Today was corn meal and beans. We also ate well today having fresh tomatoes, mangoes, pineapple, and Pastor Mioche’s favorite braised goat with gravy.
The soccer balls did double duty with a try at volley ball.
Our trusty interpreters took time out from their important responsibilities to play soccer with us. Rumor has it there is video of Kyle doing a dance, but Kyle will have to verify that.
The smiles on these faces remind us why we are here.
Thanks for the update. Feels just like yesterday when I was there last.
Love the pics! FYI: Did you know Kyle is a master painter??? Does awesome work.
Tell everyone hi from me:) And that I miss them.
Prayerfully, Diana
PS Dennis if you are reading this I am missing you helping me with my dictation! 🙂
